What are the requirements for becoming a CAP Chaplain?
For appointment as a CAP Chaplain individuals must meet the requirements found in CAPR 265-1, paragraph 6.

Where can I learn more about Chaplain Corps Region Staff College (CCRSC)?
In general, CCRSC is open to CAP Chaplains and Character Development Instructors for their continued CAP education and enrichment. The Colleges are normally held annually in each region. Graduation from two CCRSCs within a five-year period may be used by chaplains as a substitute for the Civil Air Patrol Region Staff College.

What type of training will I receive as a CAP Chaplain or CDI?
Aside from general CAP training provided by the CAP Professional Development Program, chaplains and CDIs also follow a specialty track designed to help them become more effective. See CAPP 40-80 for more information.
Additionally, annual Chaplain Corps Region Staff Colleges provide additional ongoing training that is relevant to chaplains and CDIs. There is also more helpful information and training opportunities on the CAP chaplain website at https://capchaplain.com.
