Criteria for obtaining an RMR Account
RMR will grant an @rmr.cap.gov email address to anyone who meets one or more of the elective criteria and all of the compliance criteria.
Elective criteria (must meet one or more):
- You like to keep your RMR emails or calendar separate, and you want an RMR email address
- You want or need to host meetings with a telephone number (so people can join without a computer, smartphone, or internet connection)
- You want to record meeting audio, video, or transcriptions
- You want to send emails to RMR mailing lists with the RMR department as the sender instead of your name
Compliance criteria (must meet all of these):
- You hold a duty position in RMR or RMR is your home unit and
- You are willing to check the email inbox once every 30 days and
- You will not turn on email forwarding
