C/SSgt Daniel Diaz

Cadet Staff Sergeant Daniel Diaz is a member of the Maj. Thomas B. McGuire Jr. Composite Squadron (NER-NJ-086).

He holds the (somewhat prestigious?) position of 1st Element Leader of Alpha Flight.

I say kind of prestigious because it is the first element of the first flight, similar to comparing the governor of New York to other state governors. The position is still not a formal authority like the position of flight sergeant.
