Usage

This message should be placed only on article talk pages at the head of the talk page with other notices for articles which appear to follow the particular shortened footnote style. If there is some question about the style intended for the article, instead use the inquiry template {{Note short footnote style 1}} to confirm that style 1 is what contributors have chosen.

To use this template, add this code to an article’s talk page:

{{Note short footnote style 2 in use|sources}}

Where sources is the name of the section or sections where full citations are listed. The default is Cited works.

Example

{{Note short footnote style 2 in use|sources=Cited sources}}

This produces:

The article is added to the hidden maintenance category Category:Articles with notice for sfn style 2 for tracking purposes.
