Although it's convenient to store your department files on your local computer, it benefits the unit more if you store your files on the designated Sharepoint or Teams location for your department.
Files placed in Teams are also available in Sharepoint, and vice versa.
To view/update/modify files in Teams:
- Open Microsoft Teams
- Make sure you're logged in to Teams using the Microsoft account associated with your primary CAP email address.
- In the upper right hand corner, make sure to select your primary CAP email address
- Click "Teams" on the left navigation bar
- Click into the Team whose files you want to see/modify
- Click the "General" channel
- Click the "Files" button at the top of the screen
To view/update/modify files in Sharepoint instead of Teams, contact your administrator for a link to the Sharepoint site for your team. We encourage use of Teams because Sharepoint is more difficult.
