Usage
This message should be placed only on article talk pages at the head of the talk page with other notices for articles which appear to follow the particular shortened footnote style. If there is some question about the style intended for the article, instead use the inquiry template {{Note short footnote style 1}} to confirm that style 1 is what contributors have chosen.
To use this template, add this code to an article’s talk page:

Where sources is the name of the section or sections where full citations are listed. The default is Cited works.

In order to maintain an organized list of cited works, this article uses shortened footnotes for all references to cited works, with the full citation placed in the Cited sources section.
