Usage

You may use either one of the following:

{{subst:nonspecific}}

or

{{nonspecific|date=December 2024}}

Use this tag to flag a citation that is not specific enough to facilitate verification of information from the cited source. For example, it may include a page range which is unreasonably broad.

For citations missing vital parts of the source, use the more specific Incomplete or broken citation template in the navbox below.

This tag will categorize tagged articles into Category:Wikipedia articles needing factual verification or dated subcategory thereof. This template is a self-reference and is part of the project administration rather than the encyclopedic content.

This is the TemplateData for this template used by TemplateWizard, VisualEditor and other tools. See a monthly parameter usage report for Template:Nonspecific in articles based on its TemplateData.
