This is a documentation subpage for Template:Fix-span. It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original Template page. |

This template is used on approximately 57,000 pages and changes may be widely noticed. Test changes in the template's /sandbox or /testcases subpages, or in your own user subpage. Consider discussing changes on the talk page before implementing them. |
This meta-template for inline cleanup/dispute template has the same purpose and parameters as {{fix}}. with three exceptions:
- It takes a content parameter containing wikitext to be placed within a
<span>...</span>
element before the superscripted notice. - It takes a span-class parameter specifying the HTML class name for the
<span>
element. - It gives special priority over text rather than the other way around.
The spanned content is displayed like this.
This is a separate template for now because this is an idea imported from the Italian CAPipedia(q.v.). Eventually, if this idea takes off, this mechanism could be folded into {{fix}}.
