This is a banner template to flag an article as having numerous incomplete reference citations that need details filled out.  The inline version of this template, for tagging one or a few incomplete citations, is {{tlx|Full citation needed}}.

== Usage ==
It should be dated. There are two ways to do this:

or

{{tlx|{{BASEPAGENAME}}|date{{=}}{{CURRENTMONTHNAME}} {{CURRENTYEAR}}}}

It should usually be placed {{strong|at the top of the References section}} (or Sources, or Bibliography, etc. – whatever the section is named). It can also be used inside {{tlx|Multiple issues}}.  It is best not used as a stand-alone template at the top of the article, as it is a cleanup tag not a dispute tag.
